In Europe they operate from their offices and locations in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Poland, Romania, Russia, Ukraine and United Kingdom.
The new cross-dock center in Ghent replaces the platform in Ostend, which was acquired by Mainfreight by the takeover of Wim Bosman (former Maenhout).
The logistics warehouse consists of 8.300 m² for cross-dock activities, and another 1.000 m² of office space. 65 loading docks are situated along the 2 long facades of the building.
A lot of attention has been given to sustainability; solar panels and a green roof, charging stations for electric bicycles and cars, LED lighting with automatic dimming at sufficient natural light intensity, and so on. In the warehouse, you will only find electric forklift.
